ORANJESTAD -The British industrialist known best for his Virgin brand of over 360 companies was spotted in Aruba, downtown, at Sushi-Ya & NEXTDOOR, watching the World Cup soccer game between the Dutch & Uruguay, in the company of the locals, including owners Sven & Daisy Ellerkamp.

Branson’s first successful business venture was at age 16, when he published a magazine called Student. He then set up an audio record mail-order business in the 70s and opened a chain of record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Megastores.

Richard Branson is the 261st richest person in the world according to Forbes magazine yet while on the island he decided to have lunch with his travel companion at Sushi-Ya & NEXTDOOR over a couple of cold beers and some excellent soccer.
